"Excellent Poly, Endless Voice": Poly New Voice National Final Ended
On February 2, the national final of Poly New Voice took place at the Poly Theatre in Beijing. Liu Hualong, Chairman of Poly Group, and members of the group's leadership team attended the event. Poly employees and people from all walks of life joined online and offline.
This event is divided into the elimination round and the championship round. Experts and scholars from People's Daily, Communication University of China, and Central Academy of Drama, as well as heads of relevant departments from Poly Group, act as professional judges. Employee representatives from Poly and its subsidiaries act as public judges to help evaluate the contestants. The event was broadcast live on the video channel "China Poly." An online voting system for the "Best Popularity Award" was opened simultaneously, which attracted nearly 100,000 votes.
On site, the 12 contestants competed on the same stage and presented an exciting audio-visual feast. In the elimination round, the "post-90s" female scientist interpreted her patriotism as an overseas returnee; the members of the overseas project team told the thrilling past at the front line; the grassroots employees shared the moments of performing their duties in the past decades... Many stories showed a picture of "pursuing excellence and creating a better life." In the more fierce championship round, the top six contestants showcased their strengths. They simulated the opening of the 40th anniversary of Poly Group, where they served as the hosts and skillfully answered the questions from professional judges. Their performance attracted thunderous applause from the audience.
On the occasion of the Minor New Year, the staff representatives of the five major competition areas performed classic songs with different regional characteristics. Poly WeDo Children's Choir and Beijing Spring Children's Chorus brought ethereal music to the event.
Since its launch in November, Poly New Voice has held selective rounds nationwide for 100 days. The voices from all over the country have gathered in one place, leaving them on the road of diligence. There's always a chance to meet again as there's always a spring to expect. Let's look forward to Poly's voice at the next stage.
